The Digestive Disease Center is headed by two highly-trained, Board Certified Gastroenterologists with extensive training and experience in disorders of the G.I. tract. In addition, we've assembled a skilled team of technologists, registered nurses specially trained in endoscope, speech therapists, and registered dietitians working in conjunction with radiologists and surgeons. Our Medical Center has invested in the most advanced technology and equipment available in this field.
The Center features state-of-the-art suites for endoscope, including advanced endoscope procedures allowing out-patient, and non-surgical diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders of the liver, gall bladder and pancreas. And for greater patient comfort and privacy, we've designed 6 individual holding rooms for patients awaiting G.I. procedures, and we've strategically located our post-procedure recovery area immediately adjacent to the nurses' station. Patients in recovery are literally just a few short steps away from our attentive nurses. |
