Job Summary

Uses the communication process to communicate with the public, hospital staff and physicians. The PBX Operator will have the ability to deal with the public in a caring and reassuring manner. Receives all incoming calls to the hospital and directs these calls to the appropriate area quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

High school education preferred, with at least one year working experience.

Some previous switchboard operation experience preferred.

Must be able to handle pressure and strive for perfection.
